How we decide what to publish, verify claims, disclose our product interest, use writing tools, and correct material errors.

Our standard
People before search volume
We choose questions that Pinterest freelancers and agencies need to answer while delivering client work. Keywords help us use the reader's language; they do not replace a useful answer.
Primary sources first
Pinterest platform behavior is linked to official Pinterest Help or developer documentation. Competitor capabilities and pricing are checked against the competitor's own current pages whenever possible.
Facts, experience, and recommendations stay distinct
We label platform facts with sources, describe Pinapex product behavior from first-party knowledge, and present workflow recommendations as recommendations—not universal rules.
Commercial interests are visible
Pinapex publishes this blog and sells Pinterest agency software. Articles may link to Pinapex. Comparison content states this relationship and includes limitations or situations where another product may fit better.
Who, how, and why
Who: Articles are published by the Pinapex Editorial Team. The byline links to an author profile explaining the team's relevant scope and limitations.
How: Each article lists the primary sources used and explains its research method. AI-assisted tools may help with outlining, editing, or formatting; the editorial team remains responsible for source selection, factual verification, product claims, and the final recommendation.
Why: The blog exists to help Pinterest service providers operate client work more safely and predictably, and to explain where Pinapex may or may not fit that workflow.
Reviews and comparisons
Pinapex is not an independent review publication. When we compare Pinapex with another product, we disclose that Pinapex is the publisher, link material competitor claims to current official pages, describe the evaluation criteria, and identify workflows where the competitor may be the better choice. We do not claim hands-on testing unless the article states what was tested and when.
Updates and corrections
We update the visible modified date only after a material change to facts, recommendations, sources, or structure. Minor copy edits do not justify a new freshness date. Material errors are corrected in place as soon as practical.
